About Crystal

The ideas for Crystal’s playful and colourful paintings are often sparked by a trip to a vintage store or a walk in nature. She uses acrylic paint to create her layered works, embracing wobbly lines and the perfectly imperfect.

Her earliest memories of being creative are with her nan, Bev — you will notice that her works are signed CBK, the B, of course, standing for Bev. Crystal completed her degree in Fine Art at Monash University, though now prefers making more accessable art that doesnt take itself too seriously.
